Awareness

Awareness can be described as having a general sense of your words, actions, and their consequences. It is essential to being an empathetic friend, peer, or family member. As a student, you should try to bring awareness to your everyday life: for example, you should be aware of current events that might affect someone’s life, or you should be aware of the new system of note-taking your teacher has told everyone. Outside of the classroom, awareness can further one’s potential as a global citizen. Try to be not only aware of what is happening outside your personal “bubble”, but also analyze and do your best to play your role as a community member.
